What is Operation Taste and See?
Have you ever bitten into a cupcake and found something inside? Sounds gross, I know, but hear me out. In Operation Taste and See, you bake cupcakes and insert uplifting Bible verses or quotes in the middle of the batter of each cupcake. So ultimately, whoever receives one of these “fortune cupcakes” gets not only a delicious (I would hope) cupcake, but also an uplifting message!
How do I make these “fortune cupcakes”?
Buy cake mix from your local grocery store and make the batter. Any flavor is great! Write verses down on little slips of paper, fold them up, and wrap them in wax paper. Once you’ve put batter in each little cup, put a verse in each! *You may need to shove each one down with a fork or something or you may very well end up with little wax-paper-tumors sticking out of your cupcakes.
What if I’m fasting?
I’ll let you in on a little secret of mine: COKE–the pop…not the drug. For each egg the recipe calls for, substitute it with half a can of coke (or sprite or 7up, etc.)–or you could be boring and buy egg replacers 
What is the idea behind Operation Taste and See?
The whole idea of this operation is to help others experience Psalm 34:8. Through baking uplifting messages into each cupcake, you are helping others literally taste and see the goodness of the Lord through delicious baked goods and an encouraging word.
Who can do this?
